Episode 27: Ghost Story for the Holiday: La Llorona Repeat

In honor of the holidays, I posted a repeat Twelve Chimes ghost story for Christmas with a new intro including a show update!

I have a plan for the coming year to focus less on work and more on creativity! I have an episode I'm halfway through editing, a finished script to cast and record, a new script in the works, and an adapted piece.

I'm excited about revisiting the world of storytelling, if for no other reason than for my own pleasure and joy. Though, it is fantastic if others can enjoy the stories, particularly as I rely on the collaboration of talented actors, musicians, and artists to realize my stories...and not always mine...11 of the 27 episode stories were written by fabulous contributors as well as authors and radio writers of the past.

This repeat play is one of my favorite Twelve Chimes ghost stories. So grab a cozy blanket and a cup of something hot, curl up by the Christmas tree, and listen to my take on the legendary ghost, La Llorona (see credits below, episode 14). Lots of spooky love and Happy Holidays!!

Episode 26: Spooky - Bonus Episode with SARP Cast!!

How is a story interpreted differently with alternative actors? Listen and see! This version of the “Spooky” story is performed here by the SAG-AFTRA Radio Plays Committee, located in Los Angeles, CA. This time actors performed the story in one continuous take!

SARP stands for the SAG-AFTRA Radio Plays Committee, located in Los Angeles, CA.

The SAG-AFTRA Radio Plays Committee (SARP) produces radio plays and workshops that provide an opportunity for members to showcase their talent(s) to as many people in and out of the entertainment industry as they possibly can in a fun, safe, clean, diverse, supportive, entertaining and educational environment. By producing and workshopping these events, the committee illuminates and illustrates the origins of SAG-AFTRA’s past and encourages members to become more involved in their union through performance and leadership. Events take place at both the SAG-AFTRA Plaza and the Autry Museum in Griffith Park, and are open to the public as well as the industry.

Tonight’s bonus episode was written, directed, and edited by Josh Horowitz
